HÀ NỘI — President Trần Đại Quang has assured R.Kh. Mardanov, Prime Minister of Bashkortostan - a federal subject of Russia - that the Vietnamese State will continually facilitate ties with Russian localities, especially in the fields of economy, trade and investment.

The Republic of Bashkortostan is one of the leading hubs for not only oil and gas, petrochemical refinery, mechanical processing and agriculture, but also personnel training in oil and gas exploitation and refineries. "The Vietnamese Government stands ready to facilitate ties with Russian localities in major fields, especially in the economy, trade and investment," he said.
"As the free trade agreement between Việt Nam and the Eurasian Economic Community is put into force, Vietnamese and Russian investors, including those from Bashkortostan, will have more chances to reinforce ties in agriculture, oil and gas, and mechanical engineering," he said.
