Australian warship Hmas Warramunga docked at the Cam Ranh International Port in Khánh Hòa Province yesterday, starting a six-day technical visit.

HÀ NỘI — Australian warship Hmas Warramunga docked at the Cam Ranh International Port in Khánh Hòa Province yesterday, starting a six-day technical visit.

The ship’s commander and crew will meet with senior officers of Naval Region 4 High Command of the Việt Nam People’s Navy.

The visiting crew will also participate in friendly sporting activities with Vietnamese soldiers and explore local culture.

The visit is part of maritime security co-operation programmes implemented under a memorandum of understanding on defence co-operation signed by both countries in 2010. — VNS
