ULAN BATOR  (VNS)  — The top prosecution agencies of Viet Nam and Mangolia signed a two-year (2016-2017) co-operation agreement yesterday.

The agreement was signed following talks between Procurator General Nguyen Hoa Binh and Mongolian General Prosecutor M. Enkh-Amgalan.

Binh, who is on a four-day (July 10-13) visit to Mongolia, said stronger collaboration in procuracy would foster bilateral ties between the two countries.

He said that for several years now, the Supreme People's Procuracy of Viet Nam and the Mongolia Prosecutor's Office have been strengthening co-operation through regular meetings to exchange experiences.

M. Enkh-Amgalan said the new agreement will deepen the relationship between the two prosecuting agencies.

During his stay in Mongolia, Binh and the Vietnamese delegation will attend a ceremony to mark the 94th Mongolian National Day and the National Naadam Festival. They will also visit a number of economic and cultural establishments in the country. — VNS
