HA NOI (VNS) — National Assembly Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu has suggested Vietnamese and Algerian lawmakers could visit each other more often.
He also called for increased supervision over the implementation of commitments signed by governments and agencies between the two countries.
Luu made the request at a reception for Algerian Minister of Justice Tayeb Louh in Ha Noi yesterday.
He said that the visit would further deepen legal and judicial ties between the two countries.
The two ministries signed a legal and judicial co-operation plan for 2016-2017, under which they will work closely to foster links between the two countries and legislatures. — VNS
