HA NOI (VNS) — Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung extended condolences yesterday to Nepalese Prime Minister Sushil Koirala due to the mounting death toll caused by a devastating earthquake on April 25.
Also yesterday, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh cabled a message of sympathy to Nepalese Foreign Minister Mahendra Bahadur Pandey.
In their messages, Prime Minister Dung and Deputy PM and FM Minh sent their heartfelt sympathies to Nepal and expressed their hope that the Nepalese people would soon overcome the tragedy and resume their regular activities. — VNS
