HA NOI (VNS) — Viet Nam and Qatar discussed concrete measures to intensify their multifaceted co-operation — particularly in politics, diplomacy, trade, investment, and labour — during the first political consultation held between the two foreign ministries in Ha Noi yesterday.
Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Vu Hong Nam congratulated Qatar on its achievements and said his nation valued collaboration.
Qatari Foreign Minister's Assistant Mohammed Bin Abdullah Bin Mutib Al Rumaihi said he was impressed with Viet Nam's rapid and extensive developments, adding that there was significant potential for economic developments.
The two sides agreed to enhance delegation exchanges, especially at high levels, and continue close co-ordination at international forums.
They intend to increase contact between ministries, sectors and business communities to raise trade and implement co-operation agreements on developing investment, agriculture, labour, and human resources. — VNS
