HA NOI (VNS) — Vice Chairwoman of National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan has assured foreign investors that all possible support will be provided in developing the Bac Van Phong special economic zone (SEZ) in the central province of Khanh Hoa.

Receiving a delegation of foreign investors and Khanh Hoa leaders in Ha Noi on February 9, Ngan said Viet Nam has proved itself as an attractive destination for investors who have lent a hand to its socio-economic development.

Bac Van Phong is one of three SEZs, including Van Don in the northern province of Quang Ninh and Phu Quoc in the southern province of Kien Giang, she added.

Former Irish Prime Minister John Burton, head of the delegation, stressed that tax and legal incentives for enterprises are essential to the success of an SEZ.
