BEIJING (VNS) — Viet Nam and China yesterday concluded in Beijing the fourth round of negotiations on an agreement on free navigation at the Bac Luan river mouth.
The three-day talks were jointly chaired by Deputy Head of the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry's National Boundary Commission and Head of the Chinese Foreign Ministry's Department on Boundary and Ocean Affairs.
After extensive discussions on existing differences in opinions, both sides were able to reach agreement on several items.
They vowed to actively continue negotiating towards signing an agreement later this year.
