HA NOI (VNS) – Deputy Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son has expressed Viet Nam's sympathies with the victims of the terrorist attack in Paris with a message in the funeral book at the French Embassy in Ha Noi.

He extended the nation's condolences to the Government, people and the victims' families and wished they would soon overcome the great loss they've suffered.

The terror attack on the Charlie Hebdo weekly's headquarters in Paris killed 12 people and injured several others.

Earlier, President Truong Tan Sang, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh also sent condolence messages to their French counterparts over the tragedy. — VNS
