Vietnam leaders offer condolences over AirAsia plane crash

HA NOI (VNS) – President Truong Tan Sang and Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on December 31 sent their condolences to Indonesian President Joko Widodo over the crash of AirAsia Indonesia's flight QZ8501.

 

The same day, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh also conveyed his sympathy to Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno L.P. Marsudi.

Flight QZ8501 with 162 people on board, including 155 Indonesians, went missing on December 28 while en routing from Indonesia 's Surabaya to Singapore.

On December 31, search teams found seven bodies and debris of the plane. – VNA
