HA NOI (VNS) — The National Agricultural Co-operative Federation (NACF) of Korea will share expertise with its Vietnamese counterparts, President Truong Tan Sang said yesterday while receiving federation chairman, Choi Won Byung.

Sang said the trip was to exchange experience in building rural areas and increase Korean co-operation with Viet Nam.

Sang said the Viet Nam-Korea relationship had grown strong, particularly in economic relations, since the two countries established diplomatic ties. They are now striving to achieve two-way trade turnover of US$70 billion.

Choi said the federation also wanted to promote the export of Vietnamese farmed products to Korea, particularly seafood. — VNS
