Party, State leaders pay Tet tribute to Ho Chi Minh

HA NOI (VNS) – A delegation of Party, State, National Assembly (NA), Government and Viet Nam Fatherland Front high ranking officials on January 27 paid floral tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2014 and the 84th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam.

Among those present at the function were General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Nguyen Phu Trong, President Truong Tan Sang, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and President of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Central Committee (VFFCC) Nguyen Thien Nhan.

Former Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, former NA Chairman Nguyen Van An and former VFFCC President Pham The Duyet, among others were also present at the function.

Later on the day, the delegation laid a wreath at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs in Ha Noi .

Also on January 27, delegations from the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Public Security, and the Ha Noi Party's Committee and People's Committee paid floral tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum and laid wreaths at the Monument. — VNS
