Attaches helps deepen Viet Nam-Thailand ties

HA NOI (VNS)— Deputy Defence Minister Sen. Lieut. Gen. Nguyen Chi Vinh has praised the role of Thai military attaches in fostering military relationships, in particular co-operation between Thailand and Viet Nam.

While receiving the outgoing Thai military attaches in Viet Nam, led by Colonel Krieng Anantasan yesterday, Vinh affirmed that the Defence Ministry was willing to work and talk with the incoming attaches to further deepen the two armies' wide-ranging ties.

Both sides agreed to maintain collaboration in search and rescue exercises, joint patrols and experience sharing in pilot training, flight safety, aviation techniques, management, cadet training and military medicines as well as social activities. — VNS
