BEIJING (VNS)— Politburo member from the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) Pham Quang Nghi is leading a delegation from Ha Noi to visit China until September 12 to foster relationships between the Vietnamese capital and Beijing, and between the two nations.
Nghi, who is also Secretary of the Ha Noi municipal Party Committee, said during a meeting with Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli in Beijing yesterday that his visit aimed to realise the important common perceptions of the two countries' Party and State leaders, contributing to consolidating the Viet Nam-China comprehensive strategic co-operative partnership and promoting links between the two capital cities.
Zhang Gaoli, who is a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, voiced his hope that Nghi's visit would contribute to enhancing political trust and promote new developments in the relations between the two Parties and States as well as the two capital cities. .— VNS
