HA NOI (VNS)— President of the Viet Nam-Brazil Friendship and Cooperation Association Nguyen Van Lang met a delegation from the Communist Party of Brazil (PCB) led by President Jose Renato Rabelo in Ha Noi yesterday.
Lang was informed on the Brazilian visitors' talks with a delegation of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV), where the participants discussed the situation of each party and country as well as regional and international issues of mutual concern.
They also floated measures to boost future cooperation between the two parties, Rabelo said.
He appreciated the Viet Nam-Brazil Friendship and Cooperation Association's efforts over the past years and hoped the association would continue to serve as a bridge to further strengthen the solidarity, friendship and bilateral cooperation between Viet Nam and Brazil.
Lang also noted that cooperation had blossomed between the two countries in recent years, highlighting the coordination between his organisation and relevant Vietnamese agencies when it came to implementing bilateral agreements in several fields including culture, sports, science and technology.
The association successfully linked businesses from both countries, he said, adding that through the visit of Rabelo and his delegation, the two sides could learn from each other how to bolster cooperation among businesses and between the association and similar Brazilian organisations.
Vietnamese business representatives attending the meeting said they hoped to study the nation, its people and business culture and find trustworthy Brazilian partners to work with. — VNS
