Tribute paid to late leader

HA NOI (VNS)— Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan yesterday led a delegation to the Bangladesh embassy in Ha Noi and paid tribute to the late President of Bangladesh, Mohammed Zillur Rahman, who passed away on March 20 at the age of 84.

Nhan said that the Government, Party and people of Viet Nam expressed their deepest sympathies for the loss suffered by the people of Bangladesh and reaffirmed the strong ties between the two countries.-VNS
