|Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ho Thi Kim Thoa receives Georgian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs D. Jalagania in Ha Noi.
HA NOI (VNS)— A delegation from the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led by Deputy Minister D. Jalagania, is in Viet Nam from March 6-9 on a working visit.
The delegation attended a political consultation at the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and has been working with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The two sides focused their discussions on how to foster co-operation in economics-commerce and education-training; stepping up co-operation agreements in customs procedures and avoiding double taxation; exchanging ideas on international and regional issues, and boosting co-operation between the two ministries of foreign affairs.
Jalagania affirmed that developing relations with Viet Nam is important to Georgia, and expressed his hope to strengthen and enhance the traditional friendship between the two countries.-VNS
