Gathering marks North Korea's 64th anniversary

HA NOI (VNS)— The Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organisations and the Viet Nam-DPRK Friendship Association co-organised a get-together in Ha Noi last Friday to mark the 64th founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

Speaking at the event, President of the Viet Nam-DPRK Friendship Association Pham Tat Dong praised the tradition of friendship and co-operation between Viet Nam and the DPRK.

DPRK Ambassador to Viet Nam Kim Chang-Il affirmed that the firm position and will of the Workers' Party and Government of the DPRK is to develop its friendship with Viet Nam. — VNS
