Update: September, 07/2012 - 09:31

HA NOI — A delegation of foreign military attaches paid a working visit to Viet Nam's Naval High Command yesterday.

At their reception, Deputy Defence Minister Admiral Nguyen Van Hien said he highly valued the effective co-operation between the foreign military attaches and the Viet Nam People's Army and Navy.

The exchanges and meetings between the military attaches and the Viet Nam People's Army helped create solidarity between the Viet Nam Navy and the naval forces in the region and the world, Hien said.

After the reception, the delegation visited 189 Shipbuilding Company, under the Ministry of National Defence. In recent years, the company has signed many contracts to build ships for customers in Europe and Africa. — VNS
