Lao leader receives VN delegation
VIENTIANE — Lao Revolutionary People's Party General Secretary and President, Chummaly Saynhasone, received a delegation from Viet Nam's Communist Party's External Affairs Commission, led by its head, Hoang Binh Quan, in Vientiane yesterday.
The Lao leader spoke highly of the co-operation between the two parties' external affairs commissions, particularly their active contributions to promote Viet Nam-Laos co-operation.
Quan congratulated Laos for important achievements a year following the fourth Party resolution.
During the five-day visit, the Vietnamese delegation checked the progress of some Viet Nam-funded projects in Laos. — VNS
