Party Commission delegates pay visit to the Philippines

HA NOI — Party Central Committee Commission for External Relations chairman Hoang Binh Quan wrapped up his five-day visit to the Philippines last Saturday.

During the visit, made at the invitation of the Liberal Party of the Philippines, the current ruling party, Quan held talks with Party President Mar Roxas and other high-ranking officials.

Roxas praised the role of the Communist Party of Viet Nam in the country's development and called for co-operation on food production and natural resources management.

Quan said Viet Nam respects its relations with regional countries for peace, stability and development purposes.

The two sides further discussed ways to enhance bilateral and multilateral ties between them. — VNS
