Despite some developments in bilateral co-operation, Sang suggested the two sides should review hurdles in their co-ordination policies and mechanisms in order to promote bilateral relations.
High-ranking delegation exchanges should be strengthened, he added.
Sang particularly thanked Armenia for helping to train Vietnamese cadres and students in the past.
He also said that Viet Nam would be willing to act as a bridge to link Armenia with ASEAN member countries.
In return, Nalbandian said that since establishment of diplomatic relations 20 years ago, the two sides had made a lot of efforts to maintain and develop their co-operative friendly ties.
This visit aimed to boost bilateral ties, he said.
