HA NOI — Top leaders continued to tour localities in the run-up to Tet (Lunar New Year) yesterday.
President Truong Tan Sang visited the Party Central Committee's Commission for Popularisation and Education in Ha Noi.
He then met with current and former leaders of the northern province of Hung Yen at the provincial Party Committee headquarters.
The local government and members of the public in Ha Nam Province, some 60km south of Ha Noi, also had the opportunity to talk with the State leader.
Meanwhile, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung visited the Viet Nam Elderly Association, which represents the country's 8.6 million old people.
