Impressive taekwondo moves on HCMC streets

HCMC — Locals were excited to see taekwondo star Châu Tuyết Vân display impressive martial art poses in the streets of HCM City during the Vietnamese New Year.

She won a gold medal for Việt Nam at the SEA Games 29 in 2017.

The 28-year old athlete has won gold medals five consecutive times at the World Taekwondo Championships as well as won a gold medal for Việt Nam at SEA Games 29 in 2017.

The jumping split is one of her favourite poses. The athlete said she regularly does the splits to maintain her flexibility.

She will compete at the 2018 Asian Games to be held in Indonesia in August and September. — VNS
