HÀ NỘI — Stuntwoman Phi Ngọc Ánh and her colleagues have presented 100 gift sets to street children and to elderly artists in a nursery home in Hồ Chí Minh city.

An event featuring đờn ca tài tử (southern folk music) and talk on cải lương (reformed opera) was also held in the nursery.

Last year, Ánh conducted a free martial artsclass for children aged five to 18 in HCM City. The class taught the children self-defence skills to fend off physical attacks. Besides Ánh, former head of HCM City Martial Arts Federation Nguyễn Quốc Tâm, stuntman Quốc Thịnh and coaches from the stuntman club also participated in the project. — VNS
