A Vietnamese tech firm launched the first domestically produced smartphone on May 26. Many Vietnamese are proud of the product, and foreign experts have lauded it as a great technical achievement. But some others who dislike all products made in Viet Nam have criticised the phone even before using it.
What do you think about products made in your country? Do you objectively assess them, and buy them often? When rating a product, do you give it more points for being made in your country or are you stricter in your critique?
What do you think about the importance of consumers' attitudes toward domestic products, especially in countries with young manufacturing industries like Viet Nam?
