Update: July, 11/2012 - 10:19

HA NOI — A 38-year-old Vietnamese man was killed and nine others injured while on a tourist trip in Cambodia after their 50-seat bus hit a passing buffalo in Kampong Thom Province last weekend.

Dr Pham Tri Dung, head of the Emergency Department at the HCM City-based Cho Ray Hospital, said yesterday that the nine injured passengers were not in a critical condition.

A passenger said the bus driver lost control while driving at high speed on the way from Siem Reap Province back to Phnom Penh when the buffalo suddenly crossed the street.

The trip was organised by the HCM City-based Happy Travel Tourist Company. — VNS
