Japanese band to play at Yoko Café

The Tokyo-based band VM5 will host a music show at Yoko Café on March 26 as part of the VM5 Asia Tour 2017.

The Tokyo-based band VM5 will host a music show at Yoko Café on March 26 as part of the VM5 Asia Tour 2017.

The band, consisting of guitarists Shak Keiji and Makoto, bassist Asako and drummer KIM, will perform a mixture of dance and rock’n’roll music with catchy melodies. All of the artists are singers as well.

The show will also feature Hem Hem Saigon, a band of 11 Japanese members playing rock and ska, a music genre that originated in Jamaica in the late 1950s.

The three-piece indie rock band Gen and DJ Slowbirds will perform as well.

The show will start at 7.30pm at 22A Nguyễn Thị Diệu Street in District 3. Entrance is VNĐ50,000. — VNS
