Salon Saigon will host an interactive experimental concert featuring American multi-genre musician and sound installation artist Alec Schachner and Vietnamese composer Vũ Nhật Tân.

HCM CITY — On March 5, Salon Saigon will host an interactive experimental concert featuring American multi-genre musician and sound installation artist Alec Schachner and Vietnamese composer Vũ Nhật Tân.

Two artists will present music pieces of two styles of music – techno and acoustic.

Schachner has engaged in interactive sound installation works for years now. He has transformed daily objects and materials into sound-reactive instruments.

Tân studied piano, composition and musicology at the Việt Nam National Academy of Music in Hà Nội, computer music and new music in Germany, and composition in the US.

The event will take place from 5 to 7 pm at 6D Ngô Thời Nhiệm Street in District 3. Tickets priced at VNĐ200,000 are available at www.ticketbox.vn. — VNS
