Women, love and family values are the themes of new TV shows on HCM City Television during the Lunar New Year or Tết, which begins on January 24.  

Beginning the Lunar New Year watching a firework display has become an indispensable activity of many Vietnamese. There will be displays at 30 locations across Hà Nội for the first 15 minutes of the New Year from midnight until 12.15pm on January 25, 2020.

Netflix subscribers in Việt Nam can now enjoy more contemporary Vietnamese movies with the addition of six licensed titles which are produced or distributed by production company Bình Hạnh Đan (BHD).

Drama enthusiasts in HCM City have never had it so good. With eight new plays staged by seven theatres running two shows per day during the Lunar New Year or Tết festival, they are spoiled for choice.
