HÀ NỘI — South Korean publishing house iStory will release a book by Vietnamese author Lê Huy Khoa to mark the Southeast Asia Football Federation (AFF) Cup at the end of this year.

Khoa, whose pen name is Khoa Kanata, is assistant to Vietnamese National U23 Team’s head coach Park-Hang seo. He recently wrote the book, entitled Park-Hang seo’s Management Style: Successful Key of Korean Enterprises. The book portrays Park’s great contributions to the success of the Vietnamese U23 team during the Asian U23 championship in January and ASIAD 2018 last month.

"The book will be launched in Korea at the end of this year when coach Park and his team compete in the AFF Cup," said Khoa.

Seoul-based publishing house iStory’s representative met and worked with the author and Đinh Thị Thanh Thủy, HCM General Publishing House’s editor-in-chief, to discuss copyright of the book and publishing it in Korean.

The book is already a best-seller in Việt Nam with 10,000 copies sold, while the initial print run was just 2,000 copies. The book comprises of eight parts – the first two introduce the Korean coach and how he became the Việt Nam U23 coach. The author analyses the coach’s thought and management style, comparing techniques in football and business.

"He is human with weaknesses. We have to understand that decisions are made by the U23 staff and team as a whole," the author wrote in the book. — VNS
