HÀ NỘI — Vietnamese artist Nguyễn Hưng Phúc will be in Bangalore to conduct the Indian Kids Fashion Show (IKFS) from September 27 to 30.

Phúc is the producer behind the Asian Kids Fashion Week in HCM City which features collections by Asian designers including some from India. He was invited by the IKFS organising board to direct the show in Bangalore with the participation of 15 Indian designers and about 40 children.

"I will take good use of this opportunity to promote Vietnamese kids fashion to international catwalks," Phúc said. "I also look for a chance to bring Vietnamese kid models to perform in fashion shows in India in the future."

Phúc has already taken Vietnamese kid models to perform at the Global Excellent Award Gala 2017 in Singapore and International Talent Stars in Hong Kong last August.

The Bangalore show is a part of IKFS which is a premier fashion showcase for kids in India. It returns for the sixth edition to revolutionise the Indian fashion market for children. The event aims to be bigger and better, fostering opportunities for designers to showcase their creativity and kids to showcase their talent.

The objective is to leave a significant mark on the international fashion industry while providing a platform for nurturing individual identities with potential to be future fashion leaders and role models.

The sixth season of IKFS will be held in Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chandigarh. — VNS
