HÀ NỘI — A permanent exhibition house for Indonesian products opened officially on Monday in Hà Nội.

The Umah Indo exhibition house opens with the aim to further both countries’ bilateral economic growth as well as the ASEAN community in general, and to provide a stage for Indonesian trade, tourism, culture and investment to the Vietnamese audiences, according to Ibnu Hadi, Ambassador of Indonesia to Việt Nam.

“Both Indonesia and Việt Nam are growing fast therefore, we have a lot of opportunities to promote trade, investment, culture and tourism between two countries.”

The first event of the Umah Indo exhibition house, Tasty Indonesian Food and Drinks, will run until October 31. The exhibition introduces snacks, biscuits, sausages and beverages produced by eight Indonesian companies.

The Umah Indo exhibition house is located at 40 Trần Hưng Đạo Street, Hà Nội. It opens everyday from 7am to 8pm, entrance is free. — VNS
