Bamboo paper artwork introduced in Đà Nẵng

An art exhibition of trúc chỉ (bamboo paper) – titled Listen To The River, was debuted for the first time at the central city’s Fine Arts Museum on Saturday, displaying a structure of a bamboo paper river.

ĐÀ NẴNG — An art exhibition of trúc chỉ (bamboo paper), titled Listen To The River, was displayed for the first time at the central city’s Art Museum on Saturday.

The exhibition, developed by artist Phan Hải Bằng and 10 other members of the Việt Nam bamboo paper project, is being held in the museum’s outdoor exhibition area at 78 Lê Duẩn street till October 14.

An art talk on the contemporary art was also held Saturday at the museum, and workshops on technique will be held throughout the week from 8-11am and 2-5pm.

The trúc chỉ art exhibition was held at the Goethe Institute in Hà Nội last July. — VNS
