The non-governmental organisation Poussieres de Vie will host a live charity concert with French singer and songwriter Joyce Jonathan at Bến Thành Theatre on June 6.

The 28-year-old Joyce, who composed her first song at the age of 11, will perform her original pop and folk songs.

She released her first album Sur mes gardes in 2010, which was certified platinum after selling 130,000 copies. In 2011, she won the Francophone Breakthrough of the Year award from the NRJ Music Awards.

In 2013, she was nominated for best female singer and best song for her second album at the NRJ Music Awards.

The concert will begin at 7pm at 6 Mạc Đĩnh Chi Street in District 1. Tickets are VNĐ300,000 to VNĐ2 million and can be bought at the venue.

All profits from selling tickets will be used to offer education and healthcare for street children at centres operated by Poussieres de Vie. — VNS
