Tuyền Lâm Lake designated national tourism zone

LÂM ĐỒNG – Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc recognised the Tuyền Lâm Lake in the Tây Nguyên (Central Highlands) province of Lâm Đồng as a national tourism zone.

The national tourism zone, which covers an area of 2,900 ha in Đà Lạt City, has many special tourist products such as sightseeing, camping, cultural festivals, entertainment, a golf course, extreme sports and ecotourism.

The national tourism zone, six km to the south of Đà Lạt, has a water surface of 350ha and has operated since 2004.

Ten enterprises operating in the tourism zone have invested a total of about VNĐ2.45 trillion (US$110 million) in the zone.

Under the Prime Minister’s decision, the Lâm Đồng People’s Committee is responsible for the organisation, management, exploitation and development of the national tourism zone of Tuyền Lâm Lake. — VNS
