The official website of the second southern folk music festival, Đờn Ca Tài Tử, to be held from April 8 to 12 in Bình Dương Province, has been launched (doncataitu.vn).

BÌNH DƯƠNG — The official website of the second southern folk music festival, Đờn Ca Tài Tử, to be held from April 8 to 12 in Bình Dương Province, has been launched (doncataitu.vn).

Lai Xuân Thành, director of Bình Dương’s information and communications department, said the website would be the only source of information for the festival’s events, schedules, troupes and artists, sponsors, volunteers, maps.

It has an introduction to the southern province and will give visitors directions to get to the venue using their mobiles. Journalists covering the event can register online here.

The second edition of the festival will see a gathering of hundreds of artists from 21 provinces and cities in the southern region. Besides music shows, the event will give visitors an experience of southern cuisine, and there will be a workshop on how to use southern folk music to develop tourism. — VNS
