ĐÀ NẴNG — A painting exhibition, the Colour of Đà Nẵng, will celebrate the 65th anniversary of Việt Nam’s Fine Arts Day at the central city’s museum from Friday until Monday.

The museum said the exhibition will feature 60 paintings and fine arts works from 52 artists and sculptors in the city, covering the city’s landscape, people, beach and fishing culture.

The museum covers 3,000sq.m and displays 2,500 objects, photos and documents related to culture of Đà Nẵng and neighbouring central provinces.

Đà Nẵng Museum still preserves a collection of 11 ancient, cast-iron cannons (made during the Nguyễn Dynasty in 1802-1860) that were unearthed at the Điện Hải Citadel from 1979-2008. — VNS
