HÀ NỘI — Star designer Phương My closed the International Fashion Week Fall Winter 2016 with her Spring Summer 2017 collection titled "Pristine."

Inspired by everything Japanese, she chose Japan’s red and white as theme colours for the collection. Always known as a member of the avant-guarde in implementing updated print technology in designing her fabric, Phương My imported her material, as well as the authentic accessorries for the collection.

The colour palate runs from spring pastel colours of to heated summer tones. Her designs aimed to impress and built on the loyal clientele who wore her designs prior to this show.

Clean cut and perfectly poised, Phương My’s collection had a mature feel. A young designer in her late 20s, Phương My has established her own brand and reputation as a young talented designer not only in Việt Nam, but also abroad in Europe, the US and in the Middle East.

Graduated from Academy of Art University in San Francisco, she has participated in New York Fashion Week in 2011, Elle Vietnam Fashion Show in the magazine’s one-year anniversary and Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam Charity Auction Show 2012.
