Government takes aim at boosting business culture

HÀ NỘI — A campaign to boost Vietnamese business culture will be launched during a ceremony held at the Hà Nội Opera House next Monday.

The ceremony will include an art performance praising the importance of culture to the integration and development of Vietnamese businesses.

"Business culture determines how different levels of staff communicate with one another as well as how businesspeople deal with their customers," Hồ Anh Tuấn, chairman of the Việt Nam Association for Business Culture Development (VNABC), said.

“It’s time for us to build up a business culture without hesitation if we want Vietnamese enterprises integrate with world partners,” he said.

“The business culture should go with the traditional culture of the country go toward the community’s benefit. Enterprises with effective trading that do not harm the natural and social environment will be respected.”

Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc declared November 10 as Vietnamese Business Culture Day. The Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Trade will join hands in the campaign. — VNS
