Artist Bridget March of the UK will showcase a collection of her new watercolour paintings featuring windows of urban Việt Nam at VinGallery next week.

“I draw a lot of urban scenes and I realised, more and more, that doors and windows are an important ingredient in my work. I am irresistibly drawn to them. In most cultures, the style of windows and doors is what differentiates the urban landscape from one region to another. I want to discover what style collectively makes up the visual characters of Việt Nam’s streets,” March said in a press release.

March, who worked as a freelance product designer and art lecturer in the UK, has been a painter for more than 20 years, completing hundreds of works featuring Scotland and northern England.

She came to Việt Nam four years ago and has put on several solo and group exhibitions.
