HCM CITY — Germany international broadcaster Deutsche Welle (DW) has announced a “watch and win” contest to promote its new documentary on rock band The Scorpions called “Forever and a Day”.

Viewers who tune in to DW will have the chance to win a trip for two to The Scorpions’s show in Bangkok on October 26, 2016.

They have to go to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/DW-Scorpions and answer questions related to the documentary before October 16. The winners will be selected from among those who answer all the questions correctly and write in the most creative answer.

The documentary was originally planned as part of the Scorpions’s farewell tour starting in 2010. It was the perfect opportunity to send a film crew to catch the Scorpions’ last hurrah.

Working for DW, the documentary team accompanied the band on their tour around the world over the next few years. In the resulting documentary, “Forever and a Day”, the rockers reflect on their unparalleled careers and let viewers in on a secret: They don’t really want to stop.

“Forever and a Day” will be aired on DW in two parts on October 10 and 17 in Việt Nam, and there will be numerous re-runs after that.

The Scorpions are passionate about what they do – and they didn’t sell 100 million records without working hard.

It was particularly in the 70s and 80s that they established themselves globally with hard rock standards like “Rock You Like a Hurricane” and “Big City Nights”, and ballads like “Wind of Change” and “Still Loving You”. — VNS
