HÀ NỘI — Russia’s Clever Media Publishing House has purchased the copyright of three Vietnamese children’s Maths books translated into English and released by Dân Trí Publishing House and Long Minh Book Company.

The books are part of the Maths books series Em Thích Giỏi Toán (I Want to be Good at Maths). Each book includes 101 interesting mathematics problems compiled by teacher Phạm Đình Thực and illustrated by artist Bùi Tuấn Linh.

According to Đỗ Hoàng Sơn, director of the Minh Long Book Company, the copyright for the flip-flop format of the books was purchased from Play Bac Publishing House (France). The content of the three books was translated into English with the aim of selling their copyrights internationally.

Clever Media Publishing House paid EUR3,300 (US$3,664) initially for the books’ copyright. — VNS
