HÀ NỘI — Nguyễn Huy Cường has been announced the winner of New Zealand’s New Horizon 2016 competition and awarded with a week-long trip for two to the country.

Organised by the New Zealand Embassy, the third edition of the competition asked entrants to design posters and coin slogans promoting New Zealand tourism in Việt Nam.

The best poster winner was Nguyễn Kim Chi with her entry on Hobbiton Village. The best slogan award went to Hoàng Kim Nghĩa for the slogan “New Zealand: Love at first sight”.

“We really wanted to hear from the Vietnamese public their ideas on how to promote New Zealand,” said Ambassador Haike Manning. “ We had some really strong entries which we look forward to using to showcase New Zealand in Việt Nam.”

Over 700 submissions were received.
