HCM City to hold Vietnamese fruit festival in July

The HCM City Department of Tourism will organise a fruit festival from July 1 to 7 to showcase Vietnamese fruits and to support famers in the south who have been hit hard by a long drought.

The HCM City Department of Tourism will organise a fruit festival from July 1 to 7 to showcase Vietnamese fruits and to support famers in the south who have been hit hard by a long drought.

Through the event, visitors as well as local consumers will be informed about places selling safe fruits through hotels, malls, supermarkets, traditional markets and large shops around the city.

During the week, supermarkets will discount fruit prices by up to 35 per cent.
