DA NANG (VNS)— Petersburg Dolphinarium from Russia plans to develop a Dolphin Entertainment Centre near Thuan Phuoc Bridge in Da Nang.
The central city last week approved the location for the centre, that also includes the city's theatre and cultural centre projects.
The entertainment centre will attract tourists during their stay in the city.
An aquatics centre and a performance stage will be built to feature performing dolphins, sea lions and seals.
Tourism accounts for 10.94 per cent of Da Nang's revenue, and the sector employs 69,000 people. However, the city has yet to build international standard centres for sports, shopping, trade, night recreation and finance.
Da Nang has attracted 60 tourism projects, 13 of which are foreign-invested, with total capital of US$4 billion. — VNS
