HA NOI (VNS)— Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park was recognised as the most attractive tangible heritage site in 2015 by the Mekong Tourism Alliance on Thursday.
The award is part of the Mekong Tourism Alliance Awards (MTAA) 2015, which include best travel agencies, airlines, 5 Star hotel, resort, and most attractive tangible heritage site of the year.
Organised for the first time in 2014, the MTAA are designed to honour prominent achievements of travel agencies in the greater Mekong sub-region (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Viet Nam) with quality and excellence in tourism and hospitality.
Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, famous for its' cave systems with diverse geology, geomorphology and ecosystems, is one of the most popular destinations in Southeast Asia with many tourism sites such as Phong Nha cave, Tien Son Cave, Son Doong Cave, Thien Duong (Paradise) Cave, Dark Cave. — VNS
