HBSO's new ballet debuts at Opera House

HCM CITY  (VNS) — The monthly HCM City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera Theatre Young Melody Program will feature the ballet Nhung Bong Hoa Thanh Pho (Flowers in the City) at 3 pm today at the city's Opera House.

"The ups and downs of HCM City will be revealed through the language of dance and music," a press release from the HBSO said.

The ballet features music by Vu Viet Anh, libretto by People's Artists Vu Viet Cuong and Kim Quy, and choreography by People's Artist Kim Quy, and Nguyen Phuc Hai and Nguyen Phuc Hung.

Free tickets are available at the city's Student Support Center at 33 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street in District 1, and at the venue at 7 Lam Son Square in District 1. — VNS
