HA NOI (VNS) — Vietnamese children will experience German art by participating in a special programme held by the Viet Nam National Museum of Fine Arts and Goethe Institute on May 23, 24 and 31.
Participants, ranging from 8 to 12 years old, will have the opportunity to discover a world of colours, cubes, and lay-outs of 23 works by six young German artists.
The pictures have diverse styles and represent differing art trends. Also, creative activities inspired by artist Stefanie Githeil's works, such as making masks, offer opportunities for the children to share their art ideas and emotions.
Those interactive activities not only improve children's art skills, team-working skills, and lecturing skills, but also educate them about the German people and culture.
Held within the framework of the exhibition, entitled New Painting from Germany, the educational programme is meant to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Viet Nam – German relations.
