Update: November, 04/2014 - 09:38

HCM CITY (VNS) — Some 35 Japanese feature films and cartoons will be screened at the second Japanese film festival to be held in HCM City from November 13 to 18.

The festival, to be organised by the Japanese consulate and Japan Image Council, will also provide film enthusiasts with an opportunity to have exchanges with Japanese directors.

On November 17 Japanese film producers and directors will interact with students of HCM City University of Pedagogy's Japanese language course about film techniques.

The festival will be held at BHD Star Cineplex Icon 68 at Bitexco Financial Tower in District 1. Free tickets will be available from November 9.

According to organisers, last year's Japanese film festival had attracted a total audience of 4,130. — VNS
